Engineering and Manufacturing of the Grimaldi Spraycube System Concludes

The production of the innovative Grimaldi Spraycube CO2 capturing system is nearing completion.

Designed as a mobile CO2 capture facility, the Grimaldi Spraycube is intended for research and technology evaluation of the cutting-edge micro droplet scrubbing technology developed by Grimaldi Development (G Dev). This advanced system has been meticulously manufactured in Riga, Latvia, by DAARD Technologies.

The project represents a significant collaboration between Tekniska verken, G Dev, and KTH, with the crucial support of the Swedish Energy Agency. With the engineering phase now concluding, the Spraycube is poised to begin an exciting series of tests on flue gases at Tekniska verken in Linköping, offering promising advancements in CO2 capture and accelerating efforts to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
