G Dev is proud to announce the success of the first CO2-capture test using the Spray Cube test container at Tekniska verken, Linköping. The system operated on a slipstream of flue gases from the power plant, effectively capturing and removing carbon dioxide under steady conditions. By utilizing a solvent sprayed into the absorber tower with isolating microdroplets, the test successfully demonstrated the system’s capability to reduce CO2 emissions.
During the first capture test, the enriched solvent was continuously collected for detailed sample analysis, while the gas composition was closely monitored with advanced sensors. Next steps include further slipstream testing and gathering data from various sensors according to the measurement campaign test plan.
