Grimaldi Development AB (G Dev), in partnership with the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), has received significant funding support from the Swedish Energy Agency for the project “A Mobile Research Facility for Carbon Dioxide Separation from Flue Gases at Power Plants.”
This endorsement highlights G Dev’s groundbreaking technology for carbon capture and storage, with the project specifically targeting biogenic emissions to achieve potential negative emissions.
The initiative will see the engineering and production of a mobile research pilot container, while KTH’s Chemical Engineering department will conduct flow and process simulations. This research will culminate in a comprehensive measurement campaign at Tekniska verken in Linköping, Sweden, to evaluate the effectiveness of G Dev Technology in removing CO2 from industrial flue gases.
The project receives joint support from the Swedish Energy Agency and the EU through Next Generation EU.
